The Current Status of Training, Certification, and Utilization of Pediatric Nurse Specialists in China

【Abstract】
There has been some progress in the training, certification, and utilization of pediatric specialty nurses in China, but there are still many problems, such as an incomplete training system and inconsistent certification standards. A unified pediatric nurse training system should be established to standardize training content, create unified certification conditions to ensure the scientific and fair nature of certification, improve the efficiency of utilizing specialized nurses, clarify responsibilities, and provide more support and development opportunities.

The Role of Pediatric Nursing Amid Japan’s Declining Birthrate

【Abstract】
The goal of pediatric nursing is to ensure the growth and development of all children and cultivate their “zest for life.” However, Japan’s declining birthrate has significantly affected its social economy, welfare, and education, which may influence the future of pediatric nursing and nurse education. Therefore, this paper reviews how children are protected and nurtured in the society and discusses pediatric nursing education in nursing training programs.
