Introduction of Current Hemodialysis Status of Zhejiang Province in China and Single-center Management Experience
【Abstract】 According to Chinese epidemiological survey in 2012, there are about 120 million chronic kidney disease patients, but the treatment rate is very low. However, as many provinces of China have established dialysis quality control institutions and systems, this situation has been changed totally. This paper presents the current status of hemodialysis in Zhejiang Province in 2016, as well as the management experience of Hemodialysis Center of Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital.

Dialysis in China: View from Peritoneal Dialysis
【Abstract】 Surging end-stage kidney disease（ESKD）population has put immense social and economic burdens on the Chinese government. As a home-based and economical ESKD therapy, peritoneal dialysis（PD）has been used for over 30 years in China. Thanks to the government and health professionals, the PD population in mainland China increased significantly. However, ensuring the penetration and adequate quality of PD nationwide remains a big challenge.

Current Status and Future Perspective of Hemodialysis Therapy in Japan
【Abstract】 The epidemiological background of Japanese dialysis population has been changing in terms of age, primary diagnosis of end-stage renal disease, and dialysis vintage. Water purification and predilution online hemodiafiltration are the specific points in Japanese dialysis technology. We should provide individualized management due to heterogeneity of dialysis population.

【Abstract】 In this review, the role of peritoneal dialysis（PD）for patients with End-stage Renal Disease
（ESRD）was described. Then, I introduce strategies for preservation of peritoneal membrane in longterm PD. Finally, I present viewpoint of clinical practice especially focusing on care of chronic disease with elderly ESRD patients.
